Access to healthcare
Endless wait times, uneven service quality, and a lack of continuity of care create systemic barriers that leave too many Quebecers without support. We are fighting for an accessible, equitable, and person-centered mental health system—where everyone can get the care they need, when they need it.
Challenges
The mental health system in Quebec faces major systemic barriers: interminable waiting times (sometimes 6-12 months), unequal quality of services depending on the region, lack of continuity of care, lack of resources, and unequal access depending on income and geography.
